Alex and Stephen, a stunning young couple had a remarkable day on the cliffs above Rotorua. We were so lucky to be chosen as their Rotorua wedding photographers. A truly beautiful bride, Alex looked totally amazing in her wedding gown. She was surrounded by a bevy of attractive bridesmaids and her very cute little flower girl. Alex had put so much thought into every detail which really made for an extraoridinary day. We were totally blown away by all the superb feautures she had put into their wedding day. From the bridemaids dresses, to the bridal gown, shoes, hair and make up – everything was utterly perfect. We knew when we arrived for the preparation shoot, we had one very stylish wedding and bride on our hands.

But the day wasn’t just all about style – they had a really moving, emotional ceremony. Making their little family offical and becoming a legal stepmother to Stephen’s little girl was a huge part of the ceremony. With tears in her eyes, Alex pledged her love to not only her groom, but to her stepdaughter as well. I’m not sure there was a dry eye in the house!

The wedding was held at Te Manu Lodge, one of Rotorua’s most upmarket wedding venues. The venue and weather put on an excellent day for our amazing couple. A sky full of sun and blue skies mirroring the lake. Styled with a gorgeous vintage, rustic theme complete with a lovely arrival on horse and carriage. With loads of car enthusiasts present on the day, we got some really cool burnout photos. The scene of billowing smoke, and a very stylish bride and in love couple – really made for some wicked shots. This wedding really had it all. All the very best Alex and Stephen!
