Bora Bora is in the western part of French Polynesia. The island is located northwest of Papeete, the Capital of Tahiti. It is a short but very exciting and scenic trip to get to this small atoll. Make sure you sit on the port side as you will see Bora Bora is surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and a barrier reef. At the centre of the island stands the magnificent extinct volcanoes rising to two peaks, Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu.
