Waiheke photographers and video

Amanda and Cameron our US Military couple actually traveled all the way from Japan to host their eloping wedding. After coming here a while ago with her family, Amanda had always admired the beauty that is Waiheke Island. So when her and Cameron became engaged, they knew exactly where the wedding should be held. Having never actually seen the Island, the groom had placed all faith in his wife to be. Once he arrived for their big day, he quickly realized why Amanda had really wanted to be wed on Waiheke. So, along with their super supportive family, who also all made the trip over to New Zealand for their wedding, they finally became Mr and Mrs. We were so lucky to have been their Waiheke photographers and planners for the big day!

The whole family were so calm and relaxed, and Amanda and Cameron were such a cruisey, cool couple. No traces of bridezilla in sight!  Their wedding took place on New Years Day at popular vineyard, Cable Bay. After an intimate ceremony on the luscious grounds of the vineyard, we shot some creative photos on the grounds as well. With all the picturesque greenery and views, along with the vines – there is no better spot for it. Afterwards, the whole crew took off for a wine tour around the island and then headed back to Cable Bay for reception dinner. With so many weddings taking place on Waiheke Island each year (it is estimated that one in ten weddings take place here), it is safe to say that Waiheke is a bit of a wedding hub. Well set up with wonderful vendors and venues on the Island – what more could you need?! We love Waiheke, so when we are shooting on location there, we like to hit the surrounding beaches as well! With vineyards, beautiful scenery and beaches all around – your wedding imagery will be simply stunning!
