Victoria and Robert married at Woodlands Estate in Hamilton in a fun, family filled day. They chose us to join them on their special day and to be their Hamilton wedding videographer and photographer, and we couldn’t have been more excited. In a way their day was sort of a destination wedding. When we arrived there was actually a little bit of a surprise, they were already married!

Before moving overseas they had wed in a small, private ceremony. And so to include their loving families in on the day, they had a second! Although much larger than their first ceremony together, it felt just as intimate. Both Victoria and Robert were so obviously smitten with one another and the vows they spoke to one another were really emotional. A special moment between them as Victoria spoke her vows was so lovely to witness. All of their guests were so happy to have been able to witness their day and spend it with the couple, you could feel the support surrounding them.

Their day wasn’t just made great by the people, but the weather really come out to play with the sun shining bright – it truly was a typical New Zealand summers day! Woodlands Estate was the venue for the day, which created a beautiful edge to their wedding photos. The Estate captures a real vintage, historic feel to the weddings they host – nothing quite compares to the manor. We wish Victoria and Robert all the best – congratulations to the happy couple!
